Lager.de Storage Park is an upcoming provider for self-storage all over Germany. We are looking to continually expand, and you can help us do that, either by offering us a large plot of land, an empty building with affordable demolition costs, or by becoming a Lager.de franchisee. Self-storage: a market for the future
You can enter a partnership with us either by selling, leasing, or becoming a franchisee. In any case, you will benefit from a market that has a tradition as well as a future. Self-storage has been around for a while, but even as an established provider in Germany we still have a lot planned with our Storage Parks. We are very proud of what we have achieved but we want to continue to grow and would love to do with your support. For this reason, we are looking for properties suitable for conversion and potential franchise partners.
This makes you an attractive partner for Storage Park
If you know of a large vacant lot, or other undeveloped or vacant property. If you are a savvy estate agent or are looking to list a suitable commercial property soon, you could be an ideal partner for Lager.de Storage Park.
Expansion with Storage Park – the most important criteria in brief:
- We are looking for lots between 2,000 and 10,000sqm
- Easily accessible by car, truck, and public transport
- Convenient location in a large city / populated area
- City of 35,000 inhabitants or more with proximity to major city
These are the properties we are looking for
Self-storage needs plenty of room. From experience, we have certain minimum requirement regarding the properties we are interested in. They should be between 2,000 and a maximum of 10,000 square metres. The ideal size for a new Storage Park is 5,000 but this is just point of reference.
Expansion through properties for storage boxes
But size is not all that matters. Another important criterion is that the properties are useable for setting up storage boxes. A particularly important factor here is the surface condition. Ideal for setting up a new Storage Park and subsequent use are floors made of asphalt, gravel with rainwater drainage as well as naturally asphalted or paved surfaces.
Which cities do we want to expand to?
Moreover, the location of the potential property – or an already existing building – is important to us. We are interested in larger densely populated areas and cities with at least 35,000 inhabitants. They should be located in the proximity of larger cities or metropolitan regions, e.g., Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, the Rhineland, or the Ruhr area.
Good infrastructure required for Storage Park expansion
This is important to us because, on the one hand, densely populated areas are home to many potential customers. On the other hand, they typically have a good infrastructure, which is important for the services offered by Storage Parks – and, of course, to our customers. We want a storage facility that can be conveniently accessed at any time of the day. Large near-by roads, motorways, and also business parks are therefore ideal.
How can I become a franchisee of a Storage Park?
You can become a part of the Lager.de Storage Park expansion, too! A partnership with us can take the form of lease (as of 60 years remaining time) and, in exceptional cases, a rental contract (30 years).
Alternatively, you can also become a Lager.de Storage Park franchisee. We will be at your side from the first step of the way to becoming the manager of your own storage park. If you have a suitable premises for self-storage in an interesting area or even an existing warehouse, we will equip you with everything you need for operating a storage park – from location analysis, to customer support, and a corporate identity.
